Yang to Yin: Isolating Intention

Saturday, August 27 . 3-5:30pm
Sunday, August 28 12-2:30pm

Join us for two days of intention-filled practice in Carbondale, Colorado, brought to you by Transformation Yoga.

Saturday, EYRT Rachel Roberts will lead practitioners through a fiery, Shiva-based Ashtanga Vinyasa class focusing on Sadhana – the path of practice + Yoga Chikitsa – yoga as therapy. Students will be given extensive verbal adjustments + physical enhancements to bring the body + mind into alignment in a way that the physical form can remember for future practice.

Sunday’s course will be a slow-moving Yin flow. Through cultivating one’s patience practice the connective tissues of the body begin to open, releasing deeply set negative thought patterns, labels, preconceptions + traumas held within the body to create space for true Sankalpas – patterns of self-love + Dharmic progression.

The courses are accessible to all levels, new students will gain a strong foundation for their practice + advanced yogis will expand their knowledge of Bhandas, Mantra + energy movement through Asana + Pranayama – the physical practice + the discipline of the breath.

Offered for an investment of $60, Individual workshops $35/each.
